What is Awana?

Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," 2 Timothy 2:15. Awana is a curriculum utilized by our church to disciple preschool & elementary age children. This curriculum centers on Scripture memorization and offers families the opportunity to have spiritual conversations at home as they assist their child in working through the material. The Awana night consists of three main components: Handbook time (recitation of verses), Counsel Time (Bible lesson), and Game time. 

Classes:

Puggles | must be 2 yrs by July 31, 2025
Cubbies | 3s, 4s, 5s
Sparks | K, 1st, 2nd
T&T Girls | 3rd-6th grade
T&T Boys | 3rd-6th grade

Pricing:

Registration Fee: $25 (includes activity fee, book & awards)
Uniform*: $15

You may make payments online or at check in. You may also pay in up to four installments with the final payment due on or before Sept 12, 2025. Please make checks payable to Headwaters Church.

Scholarships are available to those who need it, please do not hesitate to ask!

*If your child does not already have a uniform for the class they are entering, you will need to purchase one.
